What do we do?

We are a Victorian Gem & Mineral Club. The club provides guidance, facilities and support to people who are interested in gemstones, minerals and lapidary work.

The Club is currently quite active, running various events, meetings and workshops.

It's the perfect time to come and check us out!

Workshops are running on weekends and we normally have a monthly meeting on the second Friday of the month at our Clubrooms at 8pm (Excl August).

2010 ROCK SWAP & TREASURE MARKET

Sunday 21st November 2010.

Our version of a gem show is a market where you can buy:

Fossils, Gems, Jewellery, Minerals, Lapidary Materials & Equipment, Trash & Treasure, Sausages, Tea & Coffee & much much more...

It all happens at Cheong Park. Cnr. Bayswater & Eastfield Rds, Croydon. 9am onwards.

Our clubroom facilities will be open. Come see our equipment and our specimen displays.

Stalls are still available if you are interested.

Field Trips:

The Club runs field trips to search for gems/minerals/different specimens roughly once a month. Contact the club for more details.

Note: for insurance reasons field trips are only open to club members.

Next Event:

Club Luncheon 15th August 2010. There is no general meeting in August.

Next General Meeting is Friday 10/9/10 at 8pm. This is our annual general meeting at which elections will be held. There will be a speaker (TBA) for the 2nd half of the meeting.
